Alpengold Hotel Davos, Davos

The hotel offers fantastic rooms with a view of Davos and the mountains, albeit not serviced daily and occasionally lacking thoroughness. The staff is very cooperative, but not always well-informed about the hotel's facilities. The location, while outstanding with beautiful views, does have a tiny gym and crowded pool. The dining experience is excellent, with a wide selection of Asian foods. Overall, a great upscale brand but with some minor drawbacks.

I had a wonderful stay at IC Davos. The rooms with an excellent view and big terrace were so beautiful, and the staff was accommodating and extremely helpful. However, the hotel service, while trying very hard, had some lapses in providing outstanding service. The location in the winter wonderland of Davos was a delight to return to after a day of skiing, although a bit small and far from the ski slopes. The dining experience, apart from the already large selection of food available, was excellent, but required multiple phone calls for basic items. Overall, a recommended spot for a relaxing break with a few minor drawbacks.
